Located in the heart of Drôme Provençale, near the medieval village of Vesc and close to Dieulefit, Camping Le Matin Calme is a small, peaceful 3-star campsite designed for guests who value calm, nature, and space.
With only 18 camping pitches and 10 cabins, our campsite is intentionally limited in size. There are no busy roads, no loud entertainment, and no overcrowding. Cars remain at the entrance of the campsite (except for arrival and departure), helping preserve silence, safety, and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day.

Camping Pitches
Discover our 18 spacious camping pitches, ranging from 80 to 100 m², in the heart of the Drôme Provençale. Nine pitches offer open views over the Vesc valley. Each pitch has access to water and is available with or without electricity. Please remember to bring your adaptors and extension cords, which are also available to rent on request. Refrigerators can be rented for additional comfort. Enjoy a peaceful nature stay in the Drôme Provençale with on-site facilities including a swimming pool, tennis court, children’s playground, and a restaurant open at lunchtime. Ideal for families or friends looking for a quiet and authentic camping experience, our small, family-run campground offers simplicity, space, and calm, far from the crowds of large tourist resorts.
IMPORTANT RULES-
- Pets are allowed on pitches if kept on a leash and vaccinated.
- Charging electric vehicles is not permitted at the campsite.
- To preserve the calm and natural setting of the campground, cars are not allowed on site except for caravans and motorhomes. Vehicles may enter briefly for loading and unloading only.

Our Chalet Confort rentals offer more privacy and convenience for your stay in Drôme Provençale.
Each Chalet Confort sleeps up to 5 people and includes:

- A calm, nature-focused setting

- Bed sheets are available as an optional add-on when booking.
- Check-in from 15:00 • Check-out by 10:00

- End-of-stay cleaning isn’t included. Your cabin will be clean and ready when you arrive 😊
At checkout, you can either clean the cabin and leave it as you found it, or choose our end-of-stay cleaning option for €60.

For groceries and everyday needs, Dieulefit is about 12 km away.
Le Temps des Copains
“Le Temps des Copains”, our small, family-run restaurant nestled in the Vesc valley, serves simple, generous cuisine prepared with local, regional ingredients. With its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant is open for lunch only, from Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
During July and August we offer baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolate from 9:00am, available by reservation the night before.

We are Jared Hall and Feriel Malti-Hall, owners of Camping Le Matin Calme since 2021. After six years of traveling by campervan across many horizons, we put down roots in the magical Drôme provençale. It’s been one of our greatest adventures, and we can’t wait to meet you… next summer!
